Brian Neenan, Superintendent From: Brian Freeman, Assistant Superintendent for Business Re: Schroeder Phase 1 Capital Project Bid Acceptance Cc: Board of Education Date: 3/21/2024 Attached you will find the results of the first phase (Schroeder Ceiling & Lights) of the capital project that was approved in December of 2023 by the Webster CSD voters. The bids were opened on Wednesday March 20, 2024, at 3:00 pm at the Buildings and Grounds Warehouse. The district had prior approval for this work as it was sent to SED prior to the December 2022 vote for approval. Bids were accepted for Ceiling Contractors and Electrical contractors. The work incorporated into these contractors are for the following areas: 2nd Floor Ceiling Tiles 2nd Floor Lighting Fixtures After opening the bids the pricing was right in line with what was budgeted for this portion of the project. There were no alternates to bid as part of this process. Based on the recommendation of the project team, the contractor references, and the contractor’s previously completed projects, it is the recommendation of the construction team to accept the above-mentioned entities as the lowest responsible bidders for electrical and site work contracts.
