This is in response to increasing challenges to provide service for students placed in educational programs outside of the district. The bids were opened on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the District Administration Offices. The following bids were opened: Transpo Bus Service LLC. - $374 per contracted bus and $499 for 5 hours per day with attendant No other bidders responded to the proposal. In addition you will find an attached contract with Transpo Bus Service LLC,. for State Education Department approval. This contract will begin in the 2024-25 school year and has a two year extension if agreed to by both parties. This bid contract will give the transportation department greater flexibility with difficult runs over the next three years. It is the recommendation of the business office that the Board of Education accept the bid and approve the attached contract. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
