This lease cycle will be the tenth anniversary of the start to the 1:1 device initiative. This will be the fourth renewal of the original phase of purchases. This lease includes the following items: 7,350 chromebooks (Dell), 1,470 iPads (Apple), a variety of operational support software, and assorted switches, cabling, and server hardware. A detailed itemized list of all components of this lease cycle are attached for your reference as well. The lease will be for three years and will be handled through our partners at Monroe 1 BOCES to maximize our state aid for the program. The terms and conditions are attached for your information as well. The total cost becomes aidable for the district on a year to year basis. The total cost for the purchase will be $4,767,853.53. That cost will be divided over the 3 year term for $1,589,284.51 per year. The three year cycle for all hardware items will also help us keep up with the speed of technological changes and advancements. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
