This service was procured in response to the increasing difficulty of providing transportation for students placed in out-of-district educational programs. The original bid was opened on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the District Administration Offices. The following bid was received: ● Transpo Bus Service LLC – $374 per contracted bus and $499 for 5 hours per day with an attendant. ●

Enclosed is the updated contract extension agreement with Transpo Bus Service LLC for submission to the New York State Education Department for approval. The original contract, which began in the 2024–25 school year, included a provision for a two-year extension upon mutual agreement. We are now exercising that extension, which will continue service through the end of the 2026–27 school year. This contract remains a valuable resource for the transportation department, providing essential flexibility in managing complex and high-need routes. The Business Office recommends that the Board of Education approve the continuation of this contract by accepting the extension agreement.
