Section 1 Contractor Status
Contractor Status Summary Summer 2025 Schroeder High School Ceiling and Light Replacement This two-year project is now complete. This summer, new ceilings and lights were installed in the first-floor corridors and locker rooms. While the old ceilings were out, contractors also performed abatement on ACM fittings in the corridors and kitchen and replaced dissolving pipe insulation.
Elementary School Roof Replacement The final part of the roofing remediation project is now complete. Elmer Davis restored the 1994 wing at Plank Road North Elementary School, closing out the contract.
Spry Middle School Water Service Repairs Lloyd Mechanical was contracted to replace the water service after an inspection showed the water main was at risk of leaking due to rust. The work is now complete after the installation of a new backflow preventer (RPZ) and the removal of the old exterior one.
Willink Middle School Renovations &Addition A two-year project began in July at Willink Middle School. This summer's work included: ● Main Office: New ceilings, lights, flooring, and data drops were installed, and conference room walls were relocated ● Staff Bathrooms: A small room on the second floor was converted into two staff bathrooms. ● Orchestra Room: A new drop ceiling was installed, integrating the existing suspended sound panels. ● OWL Addition: Foundation work has started, with structural steel arriving in September. A temporary wall was built in room D106 to create a new hallway and fire exit.
Schroeder High School Parking Lot ● Schroeder Gym Parking Lot: The parking lot reconstruction is complete. Work included new storm drains, a bio retention area, and a larger parking area. New light poles and security cameras will be installed in early September. ● Schroeder ADA Access: An ADA ramp was added to Door 33, and push-button ADA operators will be installed at both Door 33 and the Main Entrance.
