The bids were opened on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Buildings and Grounds Warehouse. Bids were accepted for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, site work, and general construction. Upon review, the bid pricing aligns with the budget for this portion of the project. Additional alternates, not originally included in the initial design, were also bid and can be awarded due to favorable pricing. The work incorporated into these contractors are for the following areas: Thomas High School: ✔ Roof ✔ Generator Upgrade ✔ Faculty Restroom Facilities ✔ Track Replacement and Stadium Turf Replacement ✔ Internal Improvements (Windows, Ceilings, Lighting, Cabinetry, Doors, Flooring) Spry Middle School: ✔ Fire Safety Systems ✔ Generator Upgrade & Storage Pole Barn ✔ All Restroom Facilities ✔ Front Entrance and Drop off loop ADA entrance installation ✔ Internal Improvements (Windows, Ceilings, Lighting, Cabinetry, Doors, Flooring) Willink Middle School: ✔ Roof Restoration Plank North 100K Capital Outlay Project: ✔ Cafetorium & Gymnasium Lighting ✔ Stage Lift Schroeder 500K Capital Transfer Project: ✔ Gymnasium Lighting & Electrical Grid Improvements After opening the bids, the pricing was in line with what was budgeted for in this portion of the project. Therefore, we were able to award the bids for all of the alternates we had hoped for. Alternates are specific to the contract and don’t necessarily apply to all in most instances.
