This is for the Willink parking lot reconstruction phase of the project that was bid last November. Project: Webster CIP Phase 2 Willink, SED Project No. 26-19-01-06-0-026-007 Contractor: Pooler Enterprises Description of Change Order: Change Order No. 205-17 addresses an unforeseen field condition involving rock removal above the contract allowance (IS-99). The scope of work includes all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the removal and export of 4,702 cubic yards of rock beyond the 1,500 cubic yards included in the original contract allowance, as well as additional rock drilling work required on site. As full-depth removal of the parking lot was taking place in both the existing parking lot areas as well as in the expansion area, significantly more bedrock was uncovered and needed to be removed than was allowed for in the original contract. Financial Impact: This change order increases the contract sum by $424,420.00. All associated costs have been reviewed and approved by the architect, LaBella Associates, D.P.C., and the construction manager, Campus CMG Inc., in accordance with the contract.
