Section 1 Contractor Status
Willink Middle School Throughout the spring, the OWL addition had tile installed on the bathroom walls, the hallway walls, and the floor. Lighting and a ceiling grid was also installed throughout the addition. Cabinets and countertops were delivered and installed in each classroom. At the end of the spring, windows and window frames were installed in each classroom. At the rear entrance of the building a new generator has been installed as well as a shaded canopy that can be used as an outdoor classroom or meeting place. Roof cleaning and restoration started this spring. In addition, materials and equipment were delivered and stored on site that will be needed to start additional work once school is out.Classroom door replacement began after school hours ended. Schroeder High School The new shot-put throwing area has been completed. This includes multiple throwing areas, new pavement, and a new fence to separate the space from the parking lot. Spry Middle School Gyms During spring break, the bleachers in the main gym were demolished and removed. Throughout the spring, the aux gym’s floor was sanded, coated, and completely refinished with new lines for basketball, badminton, volleyball, and pickleball. Throughout the spring, Billitier Electric worked after hours in the boiler room & basement. They also worked on installing wire and conduits throughout the school to get ahead of summer work. Additional material for Billitier and other contractors were delivered on-site and are being stored in storage units. Thomas High School Elmer Davis was contracted to perform the roof remediation work. Materials and equipment were delivered and stored for use. Elmer Davis started work on the Field House roof. Over spring break, all faculty bathrooms were abated to prepare for summer work.
