SAFETY HATCHES • Hatches have many issues and majority are inoperable. • Latch Handles damaged • Majority of the hinges are broken
These hatches give us access to our old septage receiving tanks, to allow us to pump out and clean as necessary.
NEW PUMPS These pumps are over 30 years old One of the pumps has not worked for a very long time. Parts are hard to get
This area is used for spoils from Penfield It is used for grit material and debris Will be used as a backup in case our new HSOW Receiving Bldg is down for any reason.
6” GODWIN TRASH PUMP
Current 6” Trash Pump is over 40 years old With additional tanks and new equipment, there is more need for additional pumping Aeration tanks need to be taken down once a year (550,000 gallons) 5
DAVIT CRANE & 8 BASES
These are needed for Confined Space Entry Current tripod system works great for Confined Space Entry on manholes but not for open tanks.

PRINTER/SCANNER FOR DRAWINGS & BLUEPRINTS • This will allow us to digitize all of our current and old facility drawings • The cost to send our drawings out was more expensive than buying our own printer. • Sending them out meant we wouldn’t have them in our possession if we needed to reference them. 12
