RESOLUTION NO. ___ OF 2026 OF THE WEBSTER TOWN BOARD TO AUTHORIZE THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY CLIMATE ACTION FUND PILOT PROGRAM At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Webster, Monroe County, New York, held at the Webster Town Board Meeting Room, 1002 Ridge Road, in the Town of Webster, New York on the 2nd day of July, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. there were present: Supervisor Alexander B. Scialdone Councilman John J. Cahill Councilwoman Jennifer S. Wright Councilman Nicholas E. Hunter Councilman Garrett J. Wagner The following Resolution was offered by ___ and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Town of Webster is eligible for grant funding under Monroe County Community Climate Action Fund Pilot Program grant; and WHEREAS, the Town of Webster has identified a project that meets the criteria for funding under the Community Climate Action Fund Pilot Program; and WHEREAS, the Town must address the need to plant native plants on town owned land; and WHEREAS, the Town of Webster will apply for funding in an amount up to $10,000 and WHEREAS, the Town of Webster authorizes a local match of total eligible project costs from the Town’s Budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Town Staff, be authorized and directed to prepare an application for Smart Growth Community Planning grant funds; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all documents pertaining to the application and acquisition of said funding.
