SEQR Classification: Type I Action To whom it may concern: Pursuant to §617.4(b)(1), the project is considered a Type I Action. At its meeting on May 21, 2026, the Webster Town Board adopted a resolution declaring its intent to serve as Lead Agency for the coordinated environmental review of the proposed project. Enclosed with this notice is the following information, which was prepared and submitted by the applicant/project sponsor’s representative or by Town staff: • •
A copy of Part I of the Full Environmental Assessment Form (EAF), with supplemental information Concept Plan of roadway improvements
In order to expedite the review process, the Webster Town Board requests that all involved agencies reply as soon as possible about whether they consent to the establishment of the Town Board as the Lead Agency for this project. Pursuant to §617.6(b)(3)(i) of the SEQRA Regulations, the Town Board will assume that it has received consent to become the lead agency if any involved agency does not send a written objection within (30) days of the date of this notice. In accordance with the criteria in §617.6(b)(5)(v)(c), the Town Board intends to become the lead agency because the Town Board has the greatest capacity for providing the most thorough environmental assessment of the proposed action.
