RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE ASSOCIATIONS FOR EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE PAYMENTS
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Schools for the Webster Central School District (referred to hereinafter as the “District”) and the following Associations are parties to collective bargaining agreements: Webster Educational Support Association, Cleaners, Custodians, Maintenance Association, Webster Transportation Unit, Association of Educational Office Professionals, Webster Educational Leadership Association, Food Service Association and NonBargaining Handbook Members (referred to collectively hereinafter as the “Associations”); and
WHEREAS, the District and the Associations recognize that there is a critical shortage of staffing and a greater need to incentivize current staff members to be at work whenever they are healthy. WHEREAS, the District and the Associations have reached a separate Memorandum of Agreement (“Agreement”) to provide certain incentive payments as expressly set forth in the Agreement. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board hereby ratifies and approves the aforesaid incentive payments and Agreement with the Associations and authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to execute said Agreement on behalf of the District; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board hereby approves the appropriation of any additional funds necessary to implement the terms of said Agreement.
