Contractor Status
Contractor Status Summary Schroeder High School Exterior– Phase 2A The track and multi-use fields are complete with the exception of the throwing area. The throwing area is waiting on new sod and is expected to be completed before the start of spring sports. Thomas High School – Phase 2B All the fire doors in corridors are now complete. All site lighting and pole barn work was completed. Parking lots with site light and exterior finishes are now also complete. Contractors are continuing installation of fencing around the ball fields. A new fence was installed along Publisher’s Parkway along with a new entrance sign to help direct traffic at the new entryway. All work inside the building is complete except for a few loose ends. Schroeder High School Interior– Phase 2C In the fall months of 2021 work has continued to progress at Schroeder High School. Renovations have been completed on the Phase 1 bathrooms which accounts for nearly half of the bathrooms throughout the building. Renovations continue in the library with the completion of demolition and the start of framing. As the school year progresses faculty bathrooms throughout the school are being renovated. Elementary Schools – Phase 2D Working through the fall, contractors have wrapped up renovations at the Plank North and Klem North libraries. Window replacement at Plank South is also finished. Contractors have moved right into renovations at the State Road library and the Klem North Faculty lounge. Demolition is complete in both of those spaces and the new walls and finishes are going up. Willink Middle School – Phase 2E During winter break, renovations at Willink library began. At this point demolition is complete and the framing has started. Some minor HVAC work has also begun. Transportation Building – 2F SED gave final approval for the project to begin and move forward.
