Contractor Status
Contractor Status Summary Winter 2022 Schroeder High School Exterior The track and multi-use fields are complete with the exception of the throwing area. The throwing area is waiting on new sod in the Spring. This is also holding up the completion of extending the shot-put landing area which is expected to be completed when the sod arrives. Thomas High School All loose ends inside the building were completed over the winter. The fence contractors worked through the winter completing the fence around the multipurpose fields. We are waiting for some additional gates to arrive to secure the fields. The batting cage area along with the disc and shot-put areas were completed in time for spring sports. Additional signage work is expected to be completed in Spring. Schroeder High School Interior In the Winter months work has continued to progress at Schroeder High School. Renovations have been completed on the northeast faculty bathrooms. Demolition and renovations have started in the west student and faculty bathrooms on the first and second floors. In the library, steel support beam installation at the south end has been completed. The framing of new walls has continued and drywall installation has started along with finishing. Wall tile installation has started in the corridors. As the school year progresses wall tile in the corridors as well as tile within the west student and faculty bathrooms will be completed. Elementary Schools At Klem North the library renovations, corridor ceilings, cafeteria, basement corridor renovations and new doors in vestibule were completed. The library renovations and new window replacement was started at Klem South and is ahead of schedule. At Plank North the new generator was installed. At State Road the new library has been completed and turned over for student occupancy. The corridor ceilings were also complete at State Road. Schlegel Road’s new windows were installed as well.
Willink Middle School During the winter months the demolition of the library was completed. New light fixtures have been added along with new walls and soffits. The restroom inside the library has been re-tiled. Painting has begun and window treatments have been started. The heat pumps in the library have been removed and are in the process of being replaced. Transportation Building Through the early months of 2022 all the trees on site have been cleared for the new asphalt paving. An underground storm chamber system has also been completed. Site work contractors are in the process of removing existing asphalt and re-grading the parking lot. The interior of the storage room has been emptied and demoed. This spring construction teams will start removing the partial building where the addition will be added as well as the fuel island demolition.
