This period serves as a vital opportunity for collaborative input to ensure our protocols remain robust, current, and effective. To maintain transparency and meet our regulatory requirements, please note the following timeline: ● Phase 1: Review Window (Opening Today) The draft plan is now available for internal and public assessment. We encourage all parties to review the proposed updates regarding emergency response, facility hardening, and communication protocols. ● Phase 2: Official Public Hearing (June 16) Following the 30-day comment period, a formal public hearing will be held at the June 16 Board of Education regular meeting. This session will allow for final updates and discussion regarding the plan’s contents. ● Phase 3: Board Adoption Immediately following the public hearing, the plan will be presented to the Board of Education (BOE) for official adoption and implementation for the next school year. We value the unique perspective each stakeholder group brings to our campus safety culture.
