President Richardson called the Tuesday, November 29, 2022 Board of Education workshop meeting to order at 5:06 p.m. at District Office, 119 South Avenue, Webster, in the 1st floor Professional Development Center. There was a quorum. L. Dioguardi motioned, M. Alt seconded, to call the workshop meeting to order. Vote: 5: Yes; 0: No; 2: Absent: J. Birdsong-Ng, S. LaDelfa. C. Barnabas motioned, C. Roods seconded to move into executive session for the purpose of discussing the superintendent’s evaluation. Vote: 5: Yes; 0: No; 2: Absent: J. Birdsong-Ng, S. LaDelfa. President Richardson called the Workshop meeting to order at 5:50 p.m. L. Dioguardi motioned, M. Alt seconded to move out of Executive Session. Vote: 5: Yes; 0: No; 2: Absent: J. Birdsong-Ng, S. LaDelfa. President Richardson commented that Webster CSD’s Board of Education has a designated policy committee charged with reviewing all district policies. In 2021, Webster CSD contracted with the Policy Services of Erie 1 BOCES to review and update our policy manual; they provide review services for over 300 districts across the state. The task is to review the draft policies provided and identify changes or updates pertinent to Webster CSD. Section 6000, Personnel policies will be reviewed this evening to ensure board members have a better understanding of the review process and personnel policies. Mr. Swinson reviewed the Human Resources policies in section 6000 and explained the rationale for proposed edits and Webster CSD personalization. Mr. Swinson and senior administrators clarified questions from board members throughout the presentation. There were a few suggestions for wording changes and they will be updated in the draft and reviewed during the first reading of section 6000 at the December 6, 2022 Regular Business meeting. M.
