This will be the eighth overall renewal of the technology program the district began in 2015-16. This will be the third renewal of the original second phase of purchases. This lease includes the following items: 190 specialized workstation systems for technology and art, 600 precision workstations, 125 tower processors, 1 cybersecurity contract, and 1 data protection program. A detailed listing of specific items are also included as well as the contract between the district and Monroe 1 BOCES. The lease will be for three years and will be handled through our partners at Monroe 1 BOCES to maximize our state aid for the program. The terms and conditions are attached for your information as well. The total cost becomes aidable for the district on a year to year basis. The total cost for the purchase is $1,641,389.34. That cost will be divided over the 3 year term for $547,129.78 per year. When we renewed this lease cycle three years ago the cost was $571,781.78 per year without the cybersecurity development program and data protection program included as a comparison. Our technology team has done an excellent job ascertaining the necessary equipment and utilizing our lease program effectively across all areas to help keep costs balanced.
