Vice President L. Dioguardi called the Tuesday, May 9, 2023 Board of Education workshop meeting to order at 5:58 p.m. at District Office, 119 South Avenue, Webster, New York, 1st Floor Professional Development Center. There was a quorum. J. Birdsong-Ng motioned, C. Roods seconded to call the meeting to order. Vote: 5: Yes; 0: No; 2 absent: C. Barnabas J. Richardson. Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Erin Land reviewed the Student and Instruction draft policies provided by Erie 1 BOCES and explained the rationale for proposed edits and Webster CSD personalization as discussed in the Policy Committee meeting. Discussion took place on the respective policies and edits. The policies will be read as a first reading at the June 13, 2023 Regular Business meeting. Erin will investigate a few questions posed by board members. M. Alt motioned, S. LaDelfa seconded to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m. Vote: 5: Yes; 0: No; 2 absent: C.
