The June 6, 2023 Workshop meeting of the Webster Board of Education was called to order by President J. Richardson in the 2nd floor Professional Development Center, 119 South Avenue, Webster, NY at 5:07 p.m. There was a quorum. S. LaDelfa motioned, L. Dioguardi seconded to call the workshop meeting to order. Vote: 6: Yes; 0: No. 1 Absent: J. Birdsong-Ng Board officers reminded board members of key deadlines and their upcoming meeting schedule. Board members received training on SuperEval with Mr. Bob Hartz. This tool will make the evaluation process efficient, a time saver, it is an evidence-based process and will provide rich conversations. Erin Land, Larry Wahl and Eric Blask shared feedback received by our Strategic Planning Committee on Webster students from their participation in the graduate brunch, college visits and conversations with business owners. Discussion took place regarding data on graduation rates, grades 3-8 testing results, regents AP courses, and various comparisons of data. Building level examples of how student data is monitored and followed up on was demonstrated. Conversation focused on areas of emphasis and modifications to the goals for 2023-24. Goals will be reviewed and approved at the July 10, 2023 Regular Business meeting so that work can begin over the summer. C. Barnabas motioned, M. Alt seconded to adjourn the workshop.
