Whitestone Associates Engineering & Geology NY, PLLC (Whitestone) is pleased to submit this proposal to provide geotechnical consulting services on an as-needed basis in support of the proposed site improvements. The purpose of Whitestone’s services will be to assist the Webster Economic Development Alliance (WEDA), Town of Webster, and Village of Webster in applying the requirements of an environmental easement and site management plan to the design and construction of key roadways in the vicinity of the Xerox Campus. WEDA has engaged Costich Engineering to complete design and construction documents for the roadway improvements. Whitestone Associates will support Costich, and in turn the Town, Village, and WEDA, by reviewing and applying the requirements of the environmental easement and site management plan that applies to the entire Xerox campus. SCOPE OF SERVICES Whitestone’s scope of services will include conducting site visits, as requested, reviewing pertinent geotechnical and environmental subsurface information, site fill management plans, and providing professional engineering and consultation services on an as-needed basis. This scope is anticipated to include, however, may not be limited to, the following: ► ►

Review the Xerox Campus environmental easement, site management plan, and appendices; Meet with Xerox representatives, Costich, Town, Village, WEDA, DEC, and other applicable agencies as needed to confirm understanding of the requirements and their applicability to design and construction activities to be carried out by Costich; Provide guidance to Costich on design documentation requirements and protocols for subsurface investigation required to complete their scope of work; Office Locations:

Review draft plans, designs, and specifications prepared by Costich and provide formal comment to ensure compliance with environmental easement and site management plan; Support bid activities and construction by answering questions of potential and hired contractors pertaining to application of environmental easement and site management plan.
Whitestone is not scoped to perform investigations of environmental conditions on the Xerox Campus beyond what is readily available through existing documentation. COST PROPOSAL Whitestone will provide geotechnical engineering services as described above on a unit rate basis in accordance with the attached Professional Services Rate Schedule. For planning purposes, Whitestone estimates not to exceed an allotment of $49,000.00, however, the total project cost will depend on the actual consultation and project management requested. This proposal is governed by the Terms and Conditions attached hereto. Any additional services or outof-scope services or work will be confirmed in writing. Please acknowledge your acceptance of this proposal by signing where indicated below and returning with a check for the retainer amount indicated. The pricing and hourly rates presented and attached are valid for 90 days from the date of this proposal, after which, Whitestone has the right to rescind the proposal or modify pricing. If all scopes of services are not authorized within 90 days of the date of this proposal, pricing on unauthorized scopes may be rescinded or modified by Whitestone. The client warrants and represents that its below signatory is authorized to execute this proposal on the client’s behalf. Mileage reimbursement subject to change based upon IRS standard mileage reimbursement rate. Additional project-specific equipment, materials, and/or laboratory analyses or subcontracted services will be quoted on a case-by-case basis. All rates are billed portal-to-portal. Projects located greater than 100 miles from a Whitestone office may be subject to per diem expenses.
