Install a 8’ x 30” dock addition off a 4” x 56’ existing dock.

General Concurrence Proposal Modified To

Be Consistent/Regional General Permit

Dear Brandon D. Martin:

The Department of State received your Federal Consistency Assessment Form and consistency certification and supporting information for this proposal on May 17, 2023 and received your modification on October 9, 2023.

The project as depicted in the most recent plans includes:

Install a 4° x 30’ dock addition off a 4’ x 56’ existing dock. installation of structural fill for 6 concrete-filled piles.

Modifications to the initial plans includes:

Reducing the width of the proposed dock addition from 8' te 4’. Installation of structural fill for 6 concrete-filled piles.

According to the information submitted, it appears that the “Install a 4’ x 30’ dock addition off of a 4’ x 56’ existing dock.” portion of this activity may be authorized under Army Corps of Engineers’ Regional General Permit (RGP) number 87-000-1. Pursuant to the Department’s December 10, 2020 Nationwide Permit decision and October 7, 2021 reaffirmation, no further consistency review is required by the Department for RGP 87-000-1.

The Department of State has determined that the portions of the proposed activity which would not be authorized under RGP meets the Department’s general consistency concurrence criteria. Therefore, further review of the proposed activity by the Department of State and the Department’s concurrence with an individual consistency certification for the proposed activity are not required.
