RESOLUTION NO. __ OF 2024 OF THE WEBSTER TOWN BOARD AUTHORIZING INTER-MUNICIPAL AGREEMENTS AND FUNDING WITH MONROE COUNTY FOR STOP DWI PROGRAMS
Ata regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Webster, Monroe County, New York, held at the Webster Town Board Meeting Room, 1002 Ridge Road, in the Town of Webster, New York on the 4th day of April, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. there were present:
Supervisor Thomas J. Flaherty Councilwoman Patricia T. Cataldi Councilman John J. Cahill Councilwoman Ginny L. Nguyen Councilwoman Jennifer S. Wright
The following Resolution was offered by and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Town Board has the authority pursuant to the New York State Town Law to authorize the Supervisor to enter the Town of Webster into Inter-Municipal Agreements with the County of Monroe:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to enter into an Inter-Municipal Agreement with the County of Monroe in the amount of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Eight Dollars ($4,958.00) for the 2024 STOP DWI Program.
2. The term of the 2024 STOP DWI Program Agreement shall be from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024.
3. The Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to enter into an Inter-Municipal Agreement with the County of Monroe in the amount of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800.00) for the High Visibility Engagement Campaign.
4. The term of the High Visibility Engagement Campaign Agreement shall be from October |}, 2023 through September 30, 2024.
5. The Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to accept any additional funds which may become available from the New York State STOP-DWI Foundation, Inc. for the period of October 1. 2023 through September 30, 2024.
6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
