**Please note: the above times do not include the time in Executive sessions. In 2022, there were nine (9) Executive sessions and in 2023 there were eight (8) executive sessions.
Town Board Discussion Based on the stats above, if the town board wanted to go to TWO (2) Thursdays a month (1st and 3rd) we may want to look at a 6:30PM workshop start and a 7:30PM regular town board start. The 7:30PM start of the Regular Board meeting should be the cornerstone as:
i. we may NOT have a workshop scheduled ii. we may move workshop to 7PM if only 1 agenda item, iii. if workshop goes LONG, you can start the 7:30PM scheduled regular meeting LATER than 7:30PM.... but you cannot start it earlier.
Based on Town Board member discussion at May 9 workshop, would we be open to starting this new schematic in August 2024? NO corrective resolution from the January 2024 Org meeting needs to be done if the intent is to keep the regular town board meetings at 7:30PM on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month
