A regular meeting of the Webster Town Board was called to order by Supervisor Flaherty at
6:30 p.m. at the Webster Town Board Meeting Room, 1002 Ridge Road, Webster, New York,
with the following officials present:

Supervisor Flaherty asked Eagle Scout, Eliza Drum and family to join him at the podium.
Supervisor Flaherty read the following proclamation.
Proclamation for Excellence
Presented to
Eliza Drum
WHEREAS, It is the intent of the Webster Town Board to recognize the outstanding efforts,
contributions, and leadership traits within our community; and
WHEREAS, The journey to Eagle Scout is a challenging one, lined with many tasks and
responsibilities that only the strongest of Scouts are able to overcome and master; and
WHEREAS, Eliza Drum has worked diligently through the course of her involvement with the
Scouts. It is through hard work, service to the community, and leadership that she has earned this
prestigious rank; and
WHEREAS, Eliza earned her Eagle Scout rank through her project supporting the Webster
Kiwanis Club. Through this project, she built five benches, as well as several bat and bird house,
that will support Camp Smile; and
WHEREAS, As the first Eagle in Troop 425, the first female Eagle in the Town of Webster, and
the 34th female Eagle in the Seneca Waterways Council, Eliza is a true leader within the Boy
Scouts of America organization. The Town of Webster is grateful for the countless hours of
service she has provided to our community and is incredibly proud of this accomplishment:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that on the occasion of her
Eagle Scout Award, as the Supervisor of the Town of Webster, on behalf of the Webster Town
Board and the entire Webster community, we extend our sincerest congratulations to Eliza for
her accomplishment and leadership.

Resolution No. 248: MOTION by Supervisor Flaherty, seconded by Councilman Cahill, to
enter into Executive Session pursuant to New York State Public Officer’s Law §105(1)(f) to
discuss employment of a particular individual.
WHEREAS, New York State Public Officers Law provides that the Town of Board may enter
into Executive Session to discuss certain subjects or matters:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Town Board enter into an Executive Session pursuant to New York State Public
Officer’s Law §105(1)(f) to discuss employment of a particular individual; and
That the following people were authorized to attend: Dennis Kohlmeier, Police Chief and Mark
Reed, Police Captain.
