okay so the meeting is open right you're open the meeting okay I am going to open the meeting welcome to the uh Thursday August 15 2024 Webster Town board meeting the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge of aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liy and justice for all Denine can you do a rooll please supervisor flarey here councilwoman cataldi present councilman kahill here Council woman win here Council woman right town Town attorney JN present okay our first item up tonight is open to the floor each speaker will be allowed five minutes um are you in Dave well if you're in you're not you're not in on this bat you sure we'd love to hear from you okay alrighty uh I expect you to be here September 5th and take the podium or plead the 5th on the 5th okay uh I I can speak for one of the Town board minutes uh the August 1st uh Town board meeting

I reviewed them and I make a motion that we approve them second supervisor flare I councilwoman when I councilwoman cataldi I councilman kahill I councilwoman Wright I I can't speak for the AY uh I reviewed the the that were submitted for the August 8th workshop and I make a motion to approve those second councilwoman cataly I councilman w i supervisor flarey abstain councilman kahill I councilman Wright I John was it you for the bills uh yes it was think I came in on Tuesday and inspected the bill BS and um I found the bills to be in order and I would move to approve the bills as submitted by the uh Director of Finance second councilman Kel I councilman Wright I supervisor flarey I councilwoman cataldi I

councilwoman w i uh and I reviewed the prepaid warrants is submitted by Paul Adams director of Finance make a motion that we approve those second supervisor flarey I councilwoman cataldi I councilman kill I councilman w i councilman Wright I you're too much John for real full disclosure we've been here since uh 6:30 tonight for the town board Workshop so maybe a little punch punch happy there uh I have also approved the purch orders submitted by Paul Adams the Director of Finance I make a motion that we approve those second supervisor FL I councilman kill I councilwoman cataldi I councilman w i councilwoman Wright I Paul is this one that you're best to well I could probably speak to it uh yeah we're just amending the uh the employee handbook to um assign the parks director uh commu use of the of his vehicle so he's now allowed to take the vehicle back and forth uh to home because he does get called out for

various reasons uh to check on things after hours um there is he will be subject to the IRS um personal use addback uh so there's a portion an income amount that will be added back to his gross pay every two weeks it's not money he receives is just uh compensation for the use of the vehicle that he has to pay tax on okay uh Jen I would like to make a motion to revise the town of Webster employee handbook to add the title Parks director to the commuter use vehicle chart located on page 500- 9 second councilman Wright I councilwoman cataldi I supervisor flarey I councilman kahill I councilman w i uh the next item up um I would suggest if anybody wants a more elaborate description of what's going on here they probably should watch the workshop that was at 6:30 this evening because I think

we spent 45 minutes on it any questions uh prior to me making this motion no I make a motion authorizing a public hearing on Thursday September 5th 2024 at 7:30 p.m. under Town law section 202b with respect to certain improvements to the town of sewer town of Webster Consolidated Sewer District consisting of the water pollution control facility asset renewal project and water resource recovery facility improvements to increase the maximum cost of the project as mentioned within the resolution number 263 of 2023 adopted on July 27th 2023 from 81,500 th000 to 87 m300 th000 and to be published in the August 21st 2024 edition of the Webster Herald second supervisor flare I councilwoman cataldi I councilman kahill I councilman w i councilman Wright I the next is a resolution to approve

the following items for recycling from the sewer department there are four that are going as I said to recycling I move that we approve that second councilman cataldi I councilman when I supervisor flarey I councilman kahill I councilman Wright I and we have more one more resolution to approve uh the list of 10 items for recycling from the sewer department and I move that we send those off to recycling second councilwoman cataldi I councilwoman w i supervisor flarey I councilman kahill I councilman Wright I and we mentioned the two tabled items here from the August 1st meeting um at the workshop previous that uh the bad news is we'll be tabling them again tonight the good news is I think we have an agreement on the verbiage of these contracts and we will be voting on them on September 5th in three weeks and we'll in the next couple weeks get those contracts out to the board members and to the community to see before that vote so with that being said uh well actually

I'll let you guys read it I would move to table the resolution authorizing the town supervisor to sign a contract with Koch Fairlife on a 10-year payment plan on 12,000 linear foot conveyance pipe upsize from tour road to Philips Road trunk line Second councilman cataldi I councilman kahill I supervisor flarey I councilman w i councilman Wright I I would also move that we table the resolution to authorize the town supervisor to sign a contract with Koch Fairlife on a 10-year payment plan on a one-time tie-in fee to the town of Webster sanitary sewer system second councilwoman cataldi I councilman kahill I supervisor flarey I councilwoman w i councilwoman Wright I well that concludes the agenda tonight and uh our first uh meeting with the new format of workshop and uh Town board me so
