Town of Webster 2025 Budget Facts and Comparisons for Wastewater Treatment Services
The following is a comparison of the 2025 budget including the $87.3M wastewater treatment plant capital project versus a projected 2025 budget had the Town chosen to only do the original $31 million asset renewal project. The comparison demonstrates the impact of Coca-Cola/fairlife coming to Webster, the installation of sludge drying technology, and the increased revenue from the ability to accept high strength organic waste.

*Historically, the Town has been unable to adequately fund the sewer capital reserve, which supports future sewer plant repairs and asset renewal. This is, in-part, due to virtually flat sewer rates. In fact, from 1998 to 2018, the sewer rate ranged between $162.50 and $167.80. Funding the Sewer Capital Reserve in future budgets will save taxpayers for years to come.
