LONG-TERM EMS OPTIONS Overall assessment and recommendation

Committee recommendation

Accept Penfield Volunteer Emergency Ambulance’s RFP Response Both PVEA and Monroe Ambulance appear to be qualified providers capable of meeting the Town of Webster’s EMS needs. The Committee’s final recommendation was most heavily influenced by: Cost and Subsidy Requests: PVEA proposed a subsidy request significantly less than Monroe. Basic Geographic Coverage: PVEA proposed leveraging current contracts ALREADY IN PLACE to allow staging ambulances in the Town of Webster, whereas Monroe’s response did not have a specific plan and indicated that this would need to be determined.
