What We Know Scope would involve planning activities needed to bring sufficient power to support strategic industrial development on NEAT campus (200 acres, 1M sf existing). This could include: • • • • •
Electrical engineering Capacity studies Coordination of easements Legal Infrastructure design
Anticipated cost of study is $500,000 and is likely not bondable. Town/Village would need to provide funds up front, to be reimbursed. • Contribution to be shared between Town and Village 1% commitment fee would increase by $5,000 • reflects $500,000 increase in FAST NY Grant request
What We Don’t Know Exact scope of study – this would be determined through coordination with: • NYSEG – New York State Electric and Gas • NYISO – New York Independent System Operator
• ESD – Empire State Development How to split $500,000 responsibility between Town and Village. Options include: • 50/50 split • Pro rata based on impact of the outcome to each municipality
