RESOLUTION #217 OF THE WEBSTER TOWN BOARD APPROVING THE SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AN INTERMUNICIPAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND THE TOWN OF WEBSTER FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE IRONDEQUOIT BAY COORDINATING COMMITTEE (IBCC)
At a regular meeting of the Webster Town Board of the Town of Webster, Monroe County, New York, held at the Town Hall, 1000 Ridge Road, Webster, New York on the Ist day of October,
2015 at 7:30 p.m., there were present: Supervisor Ronald W. Nesbitt Councilman William G. Abbott
Councilman J. Randall Nelson Councilwoman Patricia T. Cataldi
Councilman Barry A. Deane
The following Resolution was offered by Councilman Abbott and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, Monroe County has established the Irondequoit Bay Coordinating Committee to facilitate a coordinated management approach for Irondequoit Bay; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Webster has been an active member of the IBCC since 1985; and
WHEREAS, Monroe County has requested that the Town of Webster submit a resolution authorizing the Supervisor to sign an Inter-Municipal Agreement to continue its support and
involvement in the IBCC:
Now, Therefore, be it Resolved:
The Town Board finds and determines that the proposed agreement provides an important benefit to the Town of Webster and its residents and authorizes the Supervisor of the Town of Webster to
sign the Agreement.
Seconded by Councilwoman Cataldi and duly put to a vote, which resulted as follows:
