At a regular meeting of the Webster Town Board of the Town of Webster, Monroe County, New York, held at the Town Board Meeting Room, 1002 Ridge Road, in the Town of Webster, New York on the 7th day of May 2026, at 7:30 p.m., there were present: Supervisor Alexander B. Scialdone Councilman John J. Cahill Councilwoman Jennifer S. Wright Councilman Nicholas E. Hunter Councilman Garrett J. Wagner Resolution No. ___: MOTION by____________, seconded by _______________, to approve acceptance of credit cards as a form of payment for services at Webster Town Hall and on the Town website. WHEREAS, residents of the Town of Webster have expressed an interest in the Town of Webster accepting credit card payments for various transactions conducted at the Town Clerk’s Office, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined card processing services would be a convenience for residents; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has the authority to authorize acceptance of payments by financial transaction devices (e.g. credit cards, debit cards); and WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that continued and expanding the current contracting with CSG FORTE Payments, Inc. for credit card processing is the most efficient and cost-effective means for the Town to accept credit cards; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that applying a Service Fee Model approach, where the Town resident pays a modest service fee for processing their transaction and the Town would not absorb the cost, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to enter into agreement with CSG FORTE Payments, Inc. to provide additional credit card payment processing services.
